Tasting notes: Ripe blackberry and cassis are complemented by peppery spices and toasty oak. The palate is rich and lingering, showing the distinctive varietal characters of cool climate Shiraz. Subtle complexity is achieved with the use of both French and American oak which further enhances this elegant, but full-bodied, style of Shiraz. The wine will benefit from 5-10 years of cellaring.
