Spring in the Vineyard
Spring has arrived with cool crisp mornings developing into lovely sunny afternoons.
In the vineyard this means bud burst and the beginning of our growing season.
Pruning was finished by the end of July thanks to the hard work of our pruning team who worked through some wet and cold days!
Winter brought regular (and sometimes excessive) rainfall leaving the vineyard in good shape for our 2012 vintage.
With bud burst beginning mid-August the vineyards are looking beautiful.
In October we will be bottling some of the 2011 whites including the Stumpy Gully classic Riesling, and for the first time a Viognier from the new plantings in 2009. Look out for the release in November of our ever popular 2011 Sauvignon Blanc .
The Magic Black 2008 is in short supply so if you are interested in purchasing some now would be the time.

Stumpy Gully receives top scores in this years Halliday
James Halliday’s recently released ‘Australian Wine Companion’ gave 5 Stars to our Peninsula Panorama Shiraz and listed it in the top ten Australian reds under $15.00.
Our Reserve wines were also awarded 4.5 stars.
Cellar Door
Every weekend we look forward to visitors arriving at our cellar door –your opportunity to taste the full range of current release wines. You can enjoy a glass of wine and a great view on our deck.
Of course if you can’t make it to our cellar door have a look on
our website, it is easy to order wines and orders can be shipped anywhere in Australia within 24 hours. If you are a local stop in at the Lilo Café on the Esplanade in Mornington to taste some great food and enjoy a glass of Peninsula Panorama Shiraz.
