Stop Press! Stumpy Gully's previous vintage, the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon was awadrded 5 stars in James Hallidays 2011 Australian Wine Companion. It was also a Gold Medal and Trophy Winner: Best Cabernet: 2008 Concours des Vins (November 2008).
The 2009 wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, grown entirely at Stumpy Gully Vineyard in Moorooduc: wine made and bottled on the property.
Tasting notes: Deep red velvet hue, lovely blackcurrant aromas with a hint of white pepper, garden herbs and tobacco.
